FAMILY STATEMENT

SON, BROTHER, FATHER, UNCLE, PARTNER & FRIEND

Anthony had charisma and a very kind soul. He was someone that would look after people in need and assisted those that struggled in life. His home was always open to them if they needed
somewhere to go. 

Unfortunately, this kindness led to his murder when 2 people invaded his home. The thought of the fear he must have felt cuts through our hearts everyday. Although he was tied up
and beaten, his thoughts went to the other person in his home worrying about if he was ok.
Anthony did not know that the hit he had received to his head created a cerebral haemorrhage and that he would die that night on the way to the hospital. He was so worried about how his mother would be that he begged his girlfriend not to tell her as he didn’t want her to be upset.

The greed of some people in this society is what saddens our world and ruins the lives of the honest. Only the Good die young is a true statement in our family. Time heals the pain only a little. We must go on with our lives as that is what Anthony would have wanted but our souls and our love of life has changed forever. He will never be forgotten and his Son never had the chance to meet his father or was given the opportunity of being raised by him because of another’s selfishness. 

Although the case is still unsolved, we know they must fear the day they are caught and although justice has still not been served, we can only hope they realise that their selfish act took away
someone very special to so many people especially his SON.  Although Anthony was only on this Earth for 39 years, his memory will remain with every single one of us that had the blessing of being a part of his world.
